DT Fire Systems

DT Fire Systems provides fire and security solutions to people all around the UK. It’s their job to take the responsibility of compliance away from the customer, giving them one less thing to worry about.

They needed a unique, professional phone number for their business but, importantly, they needed fine-tuned support for calls to emergency services. Since VoIP phone numbers and phone lines are virtualised and calls can be conducted from anywhere, it is crucial that users supply firm emergency addresses. In the event that they call an emergency number, emergency services need an address linked with the phone number to which they can dispatch the appropriate service.

Yay.com enforces this rule strictly, as well as supporting the calling of emergency numbers like 999 and the new 119 phone number. These were crucial ticks-in-boxes for DT Fire Systems. Here’s what they had to say about how our VoIP phone system handles call routing in the event of an emergency:

Desjoyeaux Pools

Desjoyeaux is the largest swimming pool manufacturer and installer worldwide. It’s present in over 87 countries and has been trading for over 50 years. For such an established and respected business, it makes sense to have a business phone system of similar refinement. Granular controls allowed Desjoyeaux to fine-tune and “professionally enhance our customer experience… As soon as the caller calls in, they know that they’re connected and speaking to Desjoyeaux…”.

FireCo

FireCo, like DT Fire Systems, offer a service tailored to lifting the responsibility of fire-safety compliance off of businesses. FireCo manufactures a line of their own fire-safety products, most of which fit to fire doors and shut them automatically in the event of a fire.

To handle the wide range of customers their product, installation and consultation services draw, FireCo needed “a VoIP phone system over which we could have very precise and detailed control,” says Drew Hoggatt, Managing Director of FireCo. After a poor experience with a previous provider, they knew they wanted to move to a provider of hosted cloud PBX systems with a very good customer service rating and were drawn to Yay.com for this reason.

For a before-and-after Yay.com view of their service, Mr Hoggatt says, “Before we had the Yay phone system, we had no idea how well we were doing because the information was too difficult to access… [now] we cannot see any limits at all to the phone system that we have.”
