Transferring calls is an expected feature on any VoIP device or Cloud Hosted voice solution in the modern era. Our service and softphone applications are no different - we intended to make the transfer process as easy and smooth as possible with all of our applications.
To initiate the transfer, when on a call via the app just click the transfer button.
From here, select the extension number from the contacts, or dial the external number you'd like to send the call to, and then press the green call button. You'll notice we instantly place the caller on hold, and that's shown on the top right of the call box.
If you'd like to perform a blind transfer (Where you send the call to the other person without speaking to them beforehand) just click the blue button before the third party picks up, and this will end your side of the call.
To perform an attended transfer (Where you speak to the third party before transferring the call) simply wait until they answer, and then press the blue 'transfer' button to then perform the transfer and end the call your side.In the event the call is not answered by the other side, just click the red button to end the internal call, and resume the original call.
If you'd prefer to always perform a blind transfer, you can set our app to make the transfer button do so in the settings.
