Did you know that Yay has our own branded Softphone apps for you to use? You can download from this page, and if you already have an account with us you can send invites to your users from the Apps page.
The Yay apps use our proprietary tech underneath to decrease battery and mobile data usage, as well as maintain crystal clear audio quality on the toughest networks. They are also free to use and download across all our plans!
To setup your VoIP account on Zoiper you will need your SIP User details: <your_SIP_username>, <your_password> and host: talk.yay.com.
This information can be found on your dashboard under Users.
Once you have installed Zoiper, you can open it by navigating to ‘Applications’.
Zoiper will ask you about your PRO licence, but you can continue by clicking the button at the bottom!
Next, you'll need to enter your Username and Password. These will be your SIP User details, noted in your Dashboard.
Enter ‘talk.yay.com’ as the hostname
Enter your SIP Username again into the Authentication User field, and leave the ‘Outbound Proxy’ field blank.
If you have entered your details correctly, Zoiper will register and you can begin making and receiving calls!
