The 2N External Card Reader is compatible with 2N intercoms that feature card readers.

External Card Reader Key Highlights

  • Proximity reader in elegant ABS housing.
  • Multi-protocol (26 through 40 bits WIEGAND, CLOCK & DATA or CODIX) reader
  • Protocol and features selectable via “MULTIPRO” to comply with the Host
  • Compatible with all standard access control systems
  • Reader electronics completely enclosed in epoxy potting material
  • Configure LEDs and Buzzer to the specifications of the Host
  • Industry standard 125 kHz operation
  • Reads EM4002 compatible tags (cards/key fobs) with 6 to 12 cm read range.
  • Powered from the Host
