How can I deploy the Yay.com mobile app?

At Yay.com we’ve developed and built our own VoIP applications for a range of devices, such as iOS, Android and desktop giving our customers ease of use and the ability to make and take calls on the go wherever they are!

We understand that VoIP apps of the past required complicated usernames and passwords to get set up, but, with our apps, we’ve created a few easy ways to deploy our app to new or existing staff!

 

Step 1: Invite Your Colleagues

Begin by inviting your colleagues via the apps page.  Here you can invite each User using his or her mobile number which will link the user to any app instance, smartphone or desktop, going forward.  You also have the option of giving out the company code, but this will change every week.  

 

 

 

Step 2:  Download the Mobile App

This link will take you to our downloads page.  From there, select either the Google Play or Apple App store depending on your device.  This will take you to the Yay.com app in your respective app store where you can download our app.

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Login with your mobile

Now, simply enter the mobile number of the device.  If you don't receive a text, please feel free to reach out to our support team for some assistance!

 

Alternatively, if someone in the same location already uses the app, you can select Scan QR Code on the device that isn't logged in.  The person with an activated app will want to go to More > Settings > Account > My Devices > Link a Device.  This QR code can be scanned by the unactivated app.

 

 

 

Step 4: Enter the Verification Code

Now, simply enter the mobile number of the device.  If you don't receive a text, please feel free to reach out to our support team for some assistance!

 

 

 

Step 5: Start Calling!

Now that you have an app activated, you can begin to take and make calls using Yay.com!

 

 

 

Step 6: Repeat using QR Codes (Optional)

If you have several more apps to activate at the same location, you can speed up the deployment of subsequent apps using QR codes!  To make use of this, go to More > Settings > Account > My Devices > Link a Device on the activated app.  Then, on any new apps, instead of entering your mobile at step 3, select Scan a QR Code.
