How do I add contacts to my Yay desktop app?

Adding a contact to your phonebook on the desktop app is quick and easy to do! There are a couple of ways that you can do this, which I will highlight below.

Adding a single contact to an existing phonebook

Head over to the desktop app and go to 'chats', the little speech bubble in the left-hand bar.

From here, a phonebook icon should be at the top of your screen, as shown in the image below. Selecting this will allow you to add a new phonebook contact!

Adding a Phonebook through the dashboard

Alternatively, you can add contacts by adding entire phonebooks or creating a new phonebook. These can be added through your yay.com dashboard. For more information on this, see this FAQ page.
