How do I set up the Yealink W60P base and handsets?

The Yealink W60P is a great base to get started with VoIP, whether it’s in an office or at home this FAQ shows you how to get one set up! First you need to set up the Base and Handsets - we have an FAQ on connecting the Handsets to the base.

Once you’ve connected the Base and Handsets up, you’ll need to log on to the IP address of the unit to set it up. You can either do this by pressing OK, ging into Status, and selecting Base  (To get the IPV4 address) or using the Advanced IP scanner. Once you’ve got the IP address, type it into the address bar in your browser.

Step 1 - You can then log in to the device - the default Username is admin and the Password is also admin.

Step 2 - You’ll then need to navigate to accounts - where you can input your SIP credentials given on the users' page. The image above shows where all the credentials need to go.

Step 3 - You are able to set up a maximum of 8 different SIP accounts on the base station - just select which account you wanted to set up, and input the same credentials.

Step 4 - After this, head over to the Handsets Name and in here you’ll see that you can have up to 8 Handsets connected to the base - you can name each one individually here.

Step 5 - To finish setting up, go to the Number Assignment page and here you’ll be able to see all of the accounts that you’ve created, and you can assign each handset to various accounts in here too. You should then be all ready to go!
